Improving quality of higher education

In 2013 the government established the Expert Committee on Quality in Higher Education in Denmark (the Committee on Quality). The Committee has taken the temperature on the higher education in Denmark. In January 2015, the Committee on Quality finished its work with a number of recommendations on how quality, relevance, and coherence can be strengthened across academies of professional higher education, university colleges, maritime educational institutions, institutions in architecture and art, and universities. The Expert Committee on Quality in Higher Education in Denmark

The Committee on Quality worked from October 2013 until January 2015. The committee completed a number of studies and was in dialogue with a wide range of teachers, students, higher education institutions, experts, and stakeholders from home and abroad. The committee published two reports in 2014 and a final report in January 2015. The Committee on Quality has presented a number of recommendations on how to deal with challenges regarding quality and relevance within higher education. A mutual understanding on good education

The declaration focuses on a joint responsibility for full-time studies, an increased effort to improve internships and educational relevance, and a better match with regard to student intake.
