Introduction to Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society

By targeting expertise within social sciences, humanities and creativity the programme aims to enhance research and innovation on democracy, governance and citizen participation, safeguarding and promoting cultural heritage and focuses on a fair and inclusive societal transformation in Europe.

Funding target at social sciences and humanities 

The programme ‘Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society’ supports a wide range of research and innovation within social sciences, humanities and the cultural and creative field. It seeks to mobilise interdisciplinary expertise to understand the fundamental contemporary transformation of society, economy, politics and culture. And it seeks  to provide knowledge-based policy input to ensure a fair and inclusive societal transformation in Europe.

Who can Apply?

Universities and research institutions, museums and cultural institutions such as galleries, libraries and archives as well as the cultural and creative industries. The programme is also relevant to NGOs.

Requirements for Applicants

An EU project is a cross-country collaboration and most project types require multi-participant consortia. Involvement of end users and representatives of stakeholders will also often be necessary to get the required breadth in the consortium. As a general rule, a consortium must consist of a minimum of three partners from three different EU member states or associated countries to the EU. However, the consortium will most often be significantly larger.
