Arctic Circle 2017

Styrelsen for Forskning og Uddannelse og Forum for Arktisk Forskning deltager aktivt på den store internationale arktiske konference Arctic Circle, der finder sted i Reykjavik, Island 13. - 15. oktober 2017.

Foto: Morten RaschStyrelsen og Forum for Arktisk Forskning (FAF) står for en række aktiviteter på årets Arctic Circle i Reykjavik, der finder sted 13. - 15. oktober 2017. En række af medlemmerne i FAF arrangerer breakoutsessioner, og FAF vil også være tilstede med en fælles stand, der repræsenterer alle medlemsinstitutionerne.

Derudover står styrelsen og FAF for en plenumsession, der stiller skarpt på forskningens bidrag til en bæredygtig udvikling i Arktis.

En privat donation har gjort det muligt at lave et Young Scientist Programme, forankret i Færøernes Universitet, hvor 10 unge forskere har fået et rejsestipendium til deltagelse i Arctic Circle og et kursus i tilknytning til konferencen.

Paneldebat: New Opportunities. From Research to Practice

Paneldebatten løber af stablen på konferencens andendag - 14. oktober kl. 9.40. En række ministre, forskere og repæsentanter for erhvervslivet skal diskuterer hvordan forskning kan bidrage til at udvikle Arktis. Deltagerne er:
