The extended COVID-19 restrictions that apply to higher education will be extended up till and including 5 April, with the exception of institutions on Bornholm
The current COVID-19 restrictions that apply to higher education will be extended up till and including 5 April. This decision has been reached on the basis of a recommendation from the Task Force, including the health authorities, which the government together with the Socialist People's Party, he Danish Social Liberal Party and the Red-Green Alliance has chosen to follow.
However, higher education institutions on Bornholm will be exempt from the extended restrictions, due to low local infection rates. Therefore, they will be allowed to open their doors to students and staff on 1 March 2021.
In connection with this geographically local reopening, all staff and students will be required, by physical attendance, to produce documentary proof of a negative test result recorded within the preceding 72 hours based on an antigen or PCR test for covid-19..*
As regards the country's remaining educational institutions, the following restrictions will continue to apply until 5 April 2021.
