EUPHRESCO II announces the coming of its second call

International call within plant health opens on May 13, 2013 NOTE: NEW DATE

The ERA-Net for plant health EUPHRESCO II announces a pre-announcement of its second call. The Danish Council for Strategic Research is participating with half a million Euro. Danish scientists can apply within specific topics in plant health.
The topics of the call are narrow and there is allocated Danish subsidies within three defined areas:
- Diagnostics and risk management for plant health threats in wood chips and bark for bio-energy imported from other continents
- Monochamus spp., insect vectors of Bursaphelenchus xylophilus
- Epitrix (flea beetle) species, life cycles and detection method
The call opens on May 13 and closes on July 7, 2013.
EUPRHRESCO II stands for European Phytosanitary Research Coordination II, and is a coordinating unit under the seventh framework programme, FP7, of the European Commission.
