Danish foundations support the largest science conference in 2014

Seven prominent Danish foundations support EuroScience Open Forum 2014 that will take place in Copenhagen in June.

The foundations have provided substantial financial support for the event in The Carlsberg City District from 21-26 June 2014.

The seven foundations are The Novo Nordisk Foundation, The Lundbeck Foundation, The Danish Industry Foundation, The VELUX FOUNDATIONs, The Carlsberg Bequest to the Memory of Brewer J.C. Jacobsen and The Tuborg Foundation.

EuroScience Open Forum is Europe’s largest and most prestigious science event and it is held bi-annually in a major European city. In Copenhagen 4,500 delegates are expected for the event that has been billed as “The Olympics of Science”.

EuroScience Open Forum 2014 is organised by the Danish Ministry for Science, Innovation and Higher Education in collaboration with the organisation EuroScience.
