EuroScience Open Forum is organised by the Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education. It is expected that around 4,500 scientists, young researchers, students, innovators, policy makers and media people will attend the conference to discuss themes such as The healthy society, A revolution of the mind and Learning in the 21st century.
- ESOF’s objective is to build bridges between science and society and to make sure young people in particular become more interested in science and innovation. It is fantastic that some of the biggest stars from the world of science will be taking part. ESOF will be an exciting platform for a conference and a festival where ideas will flourish. Here researchers will have the opportunity to present and discuss what they are passionate about with decision makers, media professionals and ordinary citizens, says Danish Minister for Science, Innovation and Higher Education Morten Østergaard.
In tandem with the scientific conference, the delegates and the public will be invited to join six days’ of engaging activities during the Science in the City Festival that will also take place in The Carlsberg City District. 30,000 visitors are expected for the festival.
