Søren Pind discussing future education cooperation between Denmark and Vietnam
The increased Danish interest in Vietnam was the impetus for the meeting between the Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science Søren Pind and the Vietnamese Minister for Education Phung Xuan Nha in Copenhagen. Discussion topics at the meeting included student exchange and strategic partnerships between Denmark and Vietnam.
The meeting builds on the education policy cooperative agreement signed between the two countries in January 2017. The agreements recommends increased cooperation between Danish and Vietnamese educational institutions and authorities at the primary school, youth education, business education, and higher education levels. At the meeting, the ministers discussed how the agreement can create further cooperation between Danish and Vietnamese educational institutions.
New cooperative agreements between Denmark and Vietnam
The Vietnamese delegation also met with a number of Danish higher educational institutions to sign cooperative agreements within a great many areas such as the exchange of students, teachers and employees, project cooperation, internships, research activities, and innovation and technological cooperation.
