: August 01, 1999
: 1999

About the publication

The Danish Agency for Trade and Industry's project Intellectual Capital Accounts is a unique attempt of systematically collecting experiences from several companies making intellectual capital accounts at the same time.

The report gives an insight into the benefits of intellectual capital accounting from 19 companies and shows that the work is a rewarding process for the companies.

The project has been running for more than a year. Until mid-2000, further experience is collected from the companies and from the many interested parties. The experience must form the basis of guidelines for building up and reporting intellectual capital accounts in businesses. These guidelines will be ready by the end of year 2000.
