The ICT Sector in the Nordic countries 1995-2000

About the publication

There is a growing demand for official and internationally harmonised statistics on the Information Society and its growing influence on different aspects of our society.

As a consequence of these needs, the director generals of the five Nordic statistical institutes decided in November 1999 to set down a Nordic group for development of statistics on the Information Society.

This publication is an outcome of the work of the Nordic working group on Information Society Statistics. The publication is an update of the first version published December 2000.
