About the publication
The 2007 Commercialisation Survey reveals a slowdown in public research commercialisation compared to the remarkable growth rates in resent years.
On one hand, the number of patent applications and commercial revenues increased in comparison to 2006. On the other hand, the number of license deals and new spinouts declined.
From 2007, several institutions have merged. Consequently, technology transfer activities have been concentrated round a smaller number of institutions. Thus, 6-7 institutions accounted for more than 90 percent of the overall activities in 2007.
