In connection with Denmark's takeover of the EU Presidency the Ministry presents the science, innovation and higher education system in Denmark in this publication.

Being a small open economy, Denmark takes a particular interest in the successful internationalisation of its research, innovation and education activities. Today, Denmark is among the top six countries in the world with regard to R&D expenditure.
