The Effect of the Industrial PhD Programme on Employment and Income

A new study of the employment rate and income among Industrial PhD and conventional PhD graduates points to a high employment rate within both groups. The study also shows that Industrial PhD graduates often occupy highly specialized jobs in the private sector with high salaries, whereas conventional PhD graduates often hold jobs in the public sector leading to relatively lower salaries compared to Industrial PhD graduates.
