The analyses is providing evidence to the evaluation and underpin the overall conclusion of the report, namely that DFF is playing a key role in the Danish research funding system. The overall performance of publications linked to DFF grants funded in the period from 2005-2008 is quite impressive and the impact is generally high also in an international comparison. 19 % of the DFF publications are among the top 10 % cited publications in the same period.
Moreover, many of the publications attached to DFF are published in journals with high impact and visibility. The analyses are mainly based on articles from science, health sciences and technology and to some extent the social sciences. These areas are the ones that most optimally can be compared internationally in relation to impact.
