When curiosity brings change

In this profile brochure you can read about the Danish Council for Independent Research’s aim and activities. The Council offers financial support to scientific activities based on researchers’ own ideas. The Council also provides advisory services to the Danish Minister for Higher Education and Science, the Danish Parliament and the Government on research-related matters within all areas of science. Danish Council for Independent Research annually distributes close to 500 grants for research projects, at a total amount of more than DKK 1 billion.
