Steering approaches in higher education

The Ministry of Higher Education and Science has asked NIFU (Nordic Institute for Studies in Innovation, Research and Education) to carry out an international survey of higher education governance and steering approaches in Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, and UK (England).

The Ministry of Higher Education and Science has asked NIFU (Nordic Institute for Studies in Innovation, Research and Education) to carry out an international survey of higher education governance and steering approaches in Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, and UK (England)

The purpose of the survey has been to examine higher education governance and steering approaches – including the format of institutional governance structures (i.e. boards) and key steering instruments.
