The Danish Council for Strategic Research is partner in the ”EU Joint Programme - Neurodegenerative Disease Research” (JPND) which aims to highlight the need for research within the area.
JPND is now opening the call “JPND Call for Proposals: European research projects for the identification of genetic, epigenetic and environmental risk and protective factors for Neurodegenerative Diseases”
The call will fund innovative, multinational and interdisciplinary collaborative research projects that will add value to existing research through identifying novel genetic, epigenetic and environmental risk and protective factors associated with neurodegenerative disorders.
Consortia must comprise research groups from a minimum of three different JPND partnering countries. The Danish total budget is € ½ M and the intention is to fund more than one project. The projects are expected to last for up to three years.
The call is open for applications from Monday December 10 and closing on March 19. 2013.
