The Danish Council for Strategic Research participates in the first joint call under the Joint Programming Initiative Climate, and the council has allocated up to 500.000 € to Danish participation in the call.
The call has two call themes:
- Societal Transformation in the face of Climate Change
- Russian Arctic & Boreal Systems
Besides Denmark, there is participation from funding bodies from Belgium, Finland, France*, Ireland, Norway, Slovenia, United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany and Austria.
* The funding from France is still undecided. See the call text for further information.
The total public funding available for transnational research projects is expected to be around 10 M €.
The call procedure has two stages with deadline for phase 1-applications 29 November 2013.
