The Danish Council for Strategic Research hereby calls for Phase 1 applications (prequalification) for funding for Strategic Research Centres, Strategic Research Alliances and Strategic Research Projects.
In this call the Council is offering a total of DKK 746 million for strategic research activities under the following Programme Commissions and themes:
Programme Commission on Health, Food and Welfare
- Connection between food, health and lifestyle
- Bioresources, food and other biological products, including production systems and processes within the food industry
- Organic food production
Programme Commission on Sustainable Energy and Environment
- Future energy technologies and systems
- Competitive environmental technologies and solutions
Programme Commission on Strategic Growth Technologies
- Strategic growth technologies with special focus on nanotechnology, biotechnology and information and communication technology
- Strategic growth technologies, including production and materials technologies and information and communication technology
Programme Commission on Individuals, Disease and Society
- Clinical research and research in health and quality of life
- Stem cell research
Programme Commission on Transport and Infrastructure
- Sustainable transport and Infrastructure
Programme Commission on Peace and Conflict
- Peace and conflict research
