HDHL is an intergovernmental initiative on the prevention of diet- related diseases with the aim of effectively integrating research efforts in the food, nutrition, exercise, social and health sciences. HDHL now announces an international joint call: “Biomarkers in Nutrition and Health” BioNH. The call text, application form and guidelines are available at the HDHL website
The main objective of the call is to support interdisciplinary research and innovative approaches for the validation of biomarkers and the investigation of intake/exposure and nutritional status of biomarkers within the scientific area. The Danish Innovation Foundation has allocated 500.000 Euro to participation in the call and it is the intension to support multiple projects. There is a pre-qualification with a deadline on the June 10th 2014 at 05:00 p.m. CET.
