Webinar: Life Sciences in ERC

The European Research Council (ERC) is the EU's programme for groundbreaking research. This webinar prepares researchers and advisors for the ERC application process, especially within the field of Life Sciences. The webinar takes place Wednesday 1 February 2023, 02:00-03:30 p.m.

The European Research Council (ERC) has three scientific domains under which applicants may apply. This webinar is a part of a webinar series that covers the three scientific domains: Physical Sciences and Engineering, Life Sciences and Social Sciences and Humanities.

This webinar will focus on the application process for applicants under the scientific domain of Life Sciences.

During the webinar, you will gain knowledge on how to write a successful ERC application along with useful insights from two ERC grantees with the field of Life Sciences. It will also be possible to ask our speakers questions and benefit from their experience.

The speakers will include:

  • Vice-president for the ERC Executive Agency and ERC grantee, Professor Jesper Svejstrup, University of Copenhagen
  • Head of Unit Life Sciences, Philippe Cupers, ERC Executive Agency
  • ERC grantee, Professor Amelia-Elena Rotaru, University of Southern Denmark.

The webinar will be hosted by the Danish National Contact Points for ERC.

Target Group

Danish research advisors who work with ERC and researchers who are planning to apply for an ERC Grant.


The webinar will be held in English.
