Rules for processing personal data
The agency’s processing of personal data is done in accordance with the rules set forth in the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data etc.) and the Data Protection Act (Act no. 502 of 23. May 2018).
Data Controller
The Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science is responsible for the processing of personal data, which the agency carries out in connection with the types of situations mentioned in these pages.

Complaint
You have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Agency if you are unhappy with the way the Danish Agency for Education and Science processes your personal data.
The agency’s decisions in cases concerning the rights of the registered can be brought before the Department of the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science as a part of legal recourse.
