The chairman of the Qualifications Board is Professor of Law, lic.jur., Nis Jul Clausen from the University of Southern Denmark. Apart from the chairman, the Board includes a series of experts who together possess expertise within all the areas of education that come under the Ministry of Children and Education, the Ministry of Culture or the Ministry of Higher Education and Science.
The chairman and the members are appointed for four years at a time.
In each case, the Board consists of the chairman and at least two experts. In this way, the chairman participates in the consideration of all cases, while the experts vary according to the educational area which the decision concerns.
