Webinar: ERC - what's in it for me? Applying for a grant from the European Research Council (ERC)

The aim of the webinar is to provide researchers with a basic understanding of applications for the ERC, in order to enable them to decide whether or not to apply for en ERC grant.

Target group

The webinar is intended for researchers who are interested in applying for an ERC Starting, Consolidator or Advanced grant and who needs further basic information on the opportunities as well as an overview of the application process.

Since ERC offers grants for both young postdocs and more senior researchers, researchers at different career steps can benefit from the webinar.

Furthermore, research advisers are very welcome to attend. 

Aim of the webinar

To provide researchers with a basic understanding of applications for the ERC. This will enable them to decide whether or not to apply for an ERC grant. If they decide to apply we will help them to them further on the way, and guide them to the relevant ERC advisors.

Layout of the webinar

Power point presentation with short interactive sessions and a quiz with a small prize. Lastly there will be time for questions.
