Content
The DESCA (Development of a Simplified Consortium Agreement) has been the most used model Consortium Agreement in Horizon 2020 projects. The model has been updated for Horizon Europe projects taking the new requirements of the programme, the legal developments, and the previous experience of the community working with DESCA 2020 into account.
During the seminar, a speaker from the DESCA Group will present the main functionalities and novelties of the DESCA model for Horizon Europe, and practitioners will share their practical experiences with the DESCA model.
The focus will be on the following topics:
- Intellectual Property Rights: Access Rights, Confidentiality, and Dissemination
- Governance: Consortium Bodies, Meeting Procedures, and Decision-making
- Settlement of disputes
- Financial provisions
- Associated Partners, who do not sign the Grant Agreement and do not receive funding from the European Union
- Relevant considerations and options that could be introduced for lump sum actions.
