Content
The purpose of the event is to focus on the many advantageous opportunitets ERC offers to elite researchers based at hospitals. The ERC offers grants of five years for projects that the researchers themselves define. The ERC is part of the EU's framework programme for research and innovation, Horizon Europe.
At the event, various speakers will talk about several aspects of the ERC and the advantageous grants that the ERC offers. Initially, there will be introductory presentations from two members of ERC's Scientific Council and the deputy director of the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science.
This is followed by a presentation by ERC's Agency on hospital-based research.
The meeting will conclude with an inspirational case in the form of a presentation by a clinical researcher who has extensive experience in applying for and obtaining grants from the ERC as the recipient of two ERC grants.
The meeting provides ample opportunity to ask the presenters questions.
Target Group
Hospital-based researchers from Danish hospitals as well as advisors and management who want to learn more about the ERC and the opportunities it offers for hospital-based researchers.
