Webinar: Doctoral Networks 2024 call under Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) in Horizon Europe

The MSCA Doctoral Networks scheme provides funding to implement doctoral programmes by partnerships of organisations from different sectors across Europe and beyond. This webinar will focus on the 2024 call. The webinar will take place Thursday 30 May 2024, 13:00-14:15 CET.

Doctoral Networks will implement doctoral programmes by partnerships of universities, research institutions and research infrastructures, businesses including SMEs, and other socio-economic actors from different countries across Europe and beyond. 

The aim is to enable PhD candidates to establish new networks and gain cross-disciplinary experience and competencies in both academic and non-academic fields.

Grants are awarded through a bottom-up approach, allowing for free choice of topic and focusing on innovation skills. 

Content

Sofia Hardouin Monroy, Project Officer in the MSCA division at the European Research Executive Agency (REA), will present the Doctoral Networks call for 2024, which has a deadline of 27 November 2024. The call is expected to open on 29 May.

The different types of networks, participation rules, budget, and evaluation criteria and processes will be presented.

In addition, Tilmann Weber, Professor at the Technical University of Denmark and coordinator of an MSCA Doctoral Network, will share his experiences with the application process and the implementation of a Doctoral Network project.

It is possible to ask questions throughout.
