Strong and resource-efficient industries are essential for the transition to a circular and bio-based approach to succeed. The Circular Bio-based Europe programme has been set up to contribute to and support the development of these industries in Europe, where the knowledge institutions also play a decisive role in realising the ambitions.

In 2025, 175 million euro has been allocated to calls for project proposals and the aim of the seminar is for Danish companies to position themselves strategically to participate in the calls that will open in 2025.

Content

At the seminar, there will be a special focus on the opportunities that will be available to collaborate on the so-called flagship projects in 2025. And in that context the Danish strategy for working with these. Flagships are larger research and developmen projects that aim at horizontal and/or vertical integration of the value chain and thus at the technological feasibility of system solutions with a long-term potential for growth.

In addition, the seminar will contain thematic workshops around other selected 2025 topics. There will thus be good opportunity for dialogues between the participants about collaboration opportunities.

At the seminar, you can connect with experts, industry leaders, and knowledge institutions to position yourself in Europe’s bio-based future.

You will have the opportunity to meet the secretariat behind the Circular Bio-based Europe programme. Also present will be representatives of the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC), where Food & Bio Cluster Denmark is one of the Danish members who worked closely with the Circular Bio-based Europe programme actors.

Target Group

The seminar is targeted at Danish companies and knowledge institutions.

Language

The seminar will be held in English
