The restrictions that apply to institutions of higher education are extended until 31 January

January 14, 2022
On the basis of a recommendation from the Epidemics Commission, the government has received support from the Parliamentary Epidemics Committee to extend a number of measures aimed at reducing the rate of COVID-19 infection in society.

Within the resort of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, the requirements concerning a valid corona passport, and the wearing of masks or visors when attending educational institutions, are hereby extended until the end of the month.

This means that students, staff and visitors, etc., will continue to be required to present a valid corona passport in order to be allowed to attend these educational institutions in person.

Students, staff and visitors, etc., will continue to be required to wear a mask or visor when moving through indoor communal areas, for example canteens, but not when attending teaching or sitting exams.

The existing recommendations to educational institutions concerning organising teaching in fixed teams and reorganising examinations so that they can be held online, where possible, are hereby also extended until 31 January.
