Cluster Strategy 2.0 - Strategy for Denmark’s Cluster and Network Policy 2016-2018

Cluster Forum has updated Denmark's cluster strategy with new ambitions, goals and initiatives for the period 2016-2018. The new cluster strategy builds on past achievements, but it also increases the level of ambition in order to achieve even greater value creation from the Danish cluster efforts.

The strategy focuses on five priority areas:

  • Clusters and network as bridge-builder to research and education
  • Clusters as a driver of internationalisation
  • Clusters as a driver in the regional ecosystem
  • Development of strong and professional clusters
  • Cohesion in the cluster policy and cluster structure

The strategy has been developed by the parties in Cluster Forum, ie the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Business and Growth, the Ministry of Environment and Food, the Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate, the Ministry of Health, all six regional growth forums, Danish Regions, Local Government Denmark, and the Copenhagen, Aarhus and Aalborg municipalities.
