Rules for processing personal data
The committee’s processing of personal data is done in accordance with the rules set forth in the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data etc.) and the Data Protection Act (Act no. 502 of 23. May 2018) on on supplementary provisions to the regulation on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free exchange of such information).

Data controller
The committee is responsible for the processing of personal data, which the committee undertakes in connection with the types of situations mentioned in these pages.

Questions regarding the committee’s processing personal data
If you have any questions regarding the committee’s processing of your personal data as a part of a specific case, you can contact the relevant case worker or the agency’s Data Protection Officer. Contact information for the relevant case worker will generally appear on your case files, i.e. a letter or similar paperwork you have received from the committee. The Data Protection Officer’s contact information is listed above.

Complaint
