Artificial intelligence can enhance the quality, scope, and relevance of our investments in research and innovation. However, the technology can also radically change the framework for research and innovation, bringing risks and pitfalls. Therefore, Denmark must ensure that its research and innovation environments seize new opportunities while navigating ethical and security considerations.
At the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, the Danish Council for Research and Innovation Policy (DFiR) will host a series of three debates on the potentials and risks of artificial intelligence for the Danish research and innovation ecosystem. The debate series is held in collaboration with the Ministry of Digitalization, the Pioneer Centre for Artificial Intelligence, and the Knowledge Center for Foundations.
