The Council has allocated 1 million Euro for the Danish participation.
Denmark participates in the ERA-NET industrial Biotechnology (ERA-IB) whose purpose is to encourage academic and industrial researchers with expertise in industrial biotechnology, to work across the entire value chain.
ERA-IB, in cooperation with EuroTransBio, now opens for applications to the call entitled: “ERA-IB 4th joint call for proposals: Industrial biotechnology for Europe: an integrated approach”.
The call will support industrially relevant and innovative research and development projects in multinational research projects within industrial biotechnology.
At least three ERA-IB partner countries have to be included in a consortium. The Council has allocated 1 million euro for the call. The intention is to support more than one project. The projects are expected to proceed for a period of maximum three years.

There is pre-qualification with a deadline the 26th of March 2013. The projects are expected to start early in 2014.
