The Danish Council for Independent Research A2012 and S2013

With this Call for Proposals, the Danish Council for Independent Research introduces one joint call for all five research councils. This means that this document provides information about all instruments offered by DFF.

New - improved DFF Budget Form

Many applicants experienced unfortunately, in the autumn of 2012, that the mandatory DFF-Budget Form was hardly readable once converted to a pdf format. Therefore The Danish Council for Independent Research has prepared a revised Budget Form and guidelines for filling it. This new form should be used when applying for support at Danish Council for Independent Research.

IMPORTANT: Please read the new guidelines for filling the Budget Form and disregard the annex C in the present call for Proposals.  

Application deadlines

DFF has decided on two annual application deadlines. The Council’s main application deadline will be in the Autumn, and the half-yearly application deadline for DFF-Individual postdoctoral grants and FSS-Pregraduate scholarship grants will be in the Spring.

The spring 2013 deadlines (DFF-Individuelt postdocstipendium og FSS-Skolarstipendier) are:

1. May 2013  at 10 p.m. 6. May 2013 at 10 p.m. 29. April 2013 at 10 p.m. 24. April 2013 at 10 p.m. 3. May 2013 at 10 p.m.

On condition of an approval of the Financial Act for 2014 the deadlines for the next call for proposals will be around 1. November 2013 (main application deadline) and a deadline for  DFF-Individuelt Postdoctoral Grants and FSS-Pregaduate scholarships around 1. Maj 2014.

E-application

Applications must be submitted to the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation via the e-application system. All relevant forms can be located from the e-application system.
