The EU-ERFA Networking Group

The EU ERFA networking group is a group for administrative staff in the public sector working with EU's funding programme for research and innovation, Horizon Europe. Exchange of Experience about this EU program is central to the EU-ERFA network, where ERFA stands for Experience.

Purpose

The purpose of EU-ERFA is to enhance knowledge about Horizon Europe among administrative staff members at public research institutions. The aim is to assist researchers in applications and participations in the EU research and innovation programme.

The steering committee of the network is made up of representatives of each of the eight Danish universities.

Who are Members of EU-ERFA?

Members are staff from public research institutions such as:

  • Universities
  • Government-approved research and technology organisations (RTOs) and national research institutions
  • Hospitals

All members work at the administrative level with the EU programme for research and innovation for a considerable part of their time.

It is free to be a member of the EU-ERFA network.

Members share knowledge through the EU-ERFA network meetings and the mailing list, which is administered by EuroCenter at the Agency for Higher Education and Science.

Meeting Activities

The group meets twice a year, either virtually or in real life at research institutions around Denmark.

Among others, meetings are used for:

  • Exchange of experience
  • Knowledge gathering
  • Networking
