The then Minister of Higher Education and Science, Sofie Carsten Nielsen signed an agreement on Danish-Turkish cooperation on March 18, 2014 during the Turkish state visit.

In 2015 a growth advisor focusing on energy, environment and research will be stationed at the Danish embassy in Ankara.

Turkey is a country developing fast. Turkey has increased its investments, particularly when it comes to innovation.

It is therefore becoming more and more attractive for Danish companies and institutions to enter into agreements on research and development with Turkish partners.

Eventually the cooperation will support Danish export, because the know-how and the type of solutions which Danish companies can provide is in increasingly high demand in Turkey.
