Processing of personal data in connection to EFI’s events – data will be disclosed to instructors

The Legal Basis for the Processing of Personal Data

The Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science processes personal data as part of the conducting of events on Horizon 2020.  The Danish Agency for Higher and Science processes the data, which you enter when registering. Most often, it will be a matter of general data such as contact information.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is the General Data Protection Regulation article 6, no. 1, schedule a[1]. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data etc.

How do we Process your Data?

The personal data, which you disclose in the registration form at the website ufm.dk/en/h2020/events, will be stored in the agency’s IT-system. The main purpose is to conduct the event in a professional manner. We forward your personal data by e-mail to the external instructors for the purpose of preparing for the event. Apart from the instructors, we do not disclose the information to a third party. 

Storage of your Personal Data

We will store your personal data in the IT system of The Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science and subsequently use it to contact you with information about the event and other possible events on the same topic. We will generally store your personal data up to five years from the day we receive your registration.

The Right to Withdraw Consent

You can withdraw you consent at any time. If you choose to withdraw your consent, it will not affect the legality of the handling of your personal data before the time of the withdrawal.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with the manner in which the Danish Agency Higher Education and Science processes your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint to the Danish Data Protection Agency. You can find contact information of the Danish Data Protection Agency at their website.
