The legal basis for the processing of personal data

The Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science processes personal data as part of the administrative procedure regarding applications to EUopSTART. The Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science processes the information you disclose in the application, among these your contact information.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is the General data Protection Regulation article 6, no. 1, schedule a. Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data etc.

How do we process your data?

We process and store the personal data, which you disclose in the application, in the agency’s E-grant system. The main purpose is to process the applications objectively. We will not disclose the data to a third party.

Storage of your personal data

We will store your personal data in the E-grant system and subsequently use it to contact you with information about the result of the application.. We will generally store your personal data up to five years from the day we receive your application.

The right to withdraw consent

You can withdraw you consent at any time. If you choose to withdraw your consent, it will not affect the legality of the handling of your personal data before the time of the withdrawal.

If you wish to withdraw your consent, please send an e-mail to eurocenter@ufm.dk with the subject field: Withdrawal of consent – EUopSTART.
