Please enclose translations of diplomas/certificates and transcripts for the qualifications you wish to have assessed. However, we do not need translations of the educational documents if they are in English, French, German, Spanish, Swedish or Norwegian, or if you attach a Diploma Supplement issued in one of the languages mentioned,
As an applicant, you are responsible for finding a translator.
Ukrainian documents
We do not require translation of general upper secondary education documents from Ukraine:
- Svidotstvo pro zdobuttia povnoi zagalnoi serednoi osvity
- Atestat pro povnu zagal’nu srednju osvitu.
Requirements for translations
The translation must be in Danish, English, French, German, Spanish, Swedish or Norwegian.
Documents translated or certified in Denmark
The translation must be made or confirmed by one of the following:
- a translator who is certified by the Danish Association of Certified Translators and Interpreters
- a translator who works for a municipal administration or other public authority on a regular basis
- the embassy or consulate of the country where the original document was issued or the translation was made.
Documents translated or certified in the country of education
The translation must be made or confirmed by one of the following:

the institution that issued the document

a public authority in the country of education, in the form of a legalised translation

a translator approved by an authority in the country of education

China: China Credentials Verification, in the form of a "credential report" in English

a Danish consulate or embassy.
Are you in doubt about the translation requirements?
You can ask a credential evaluator specialised in qualifications from the country in question whether the agency can accept a translation that does not follow the mentioned rules.
