Student satellite demonstrator. Payload is an ex- perimental gamma detector. The technology that is to be flown on AAUSAT-2 is based on a solid CdZn Te (Cadmium Zinc Telluride) crystal. The size of the crystal is 10 x 10 x 4 mm, and weighs less than 5 grams. This specific crystal has a detection range from 5 to 300 Kev with a resolution of 3 Kev at 60 Kev, making this small crystal a very usable device. No valid results were obtained.
