Fellowship at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

PhD students and post-doctoral canditates now have the opportunity to apply for a fellowship stay at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the USA.

The Danish Agency for Higher Educatuion and Science has renewed a partnership agreement with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The agreement has been negotiated via the Danish Science and Innovation Attaché at Innovation Centre Denmark (ICDK) in Boston who also has a facilitating role in the application process. The agreement enables the agency to offer fellowships at MIT to PhD students and post-doctoral canditates at Danish universities and Danish public research institutions including hospitals as well as to industrial PhD students and post-doctoral candidates employed or enrolled at Danish universities.

The fellowships at MIT must be completed before 31st of December 2025. The membership fee acquired by DAHES will cover the expenses of visiting researchers at MIT. Please note, that fellows from Denmark will accordingly fund their own lodging and living expenses, whilst assuming responsibility for their own salaries, benefits, health insurances, preparations for visa applications, etc.

The call will be open for applications until the 1st of December 2025. The granting of visiting months for suitable candidates is assigned according to a first-come-first-served principle until all the fellowship months have been occupied.

The agency reserves the right to close the call for applications without any further notice before the above-mentioned deadline if the “Visiting Slots” have been occupied.
