Webinar 3: ESA Strategy 2040: Elevate the future of Europen Space: Explore and discover

The third ESA webinar on “Explore and discover” in the ESA Strategy 2040: Elevate the future of European Space will focus on ESA’s Exploration programme: Terrae Novae as well as on the mandatory Scientific programme: Voyage 2050.

By addressing some of the most profound scientific questions of all times, ESA missions will continue to push the boundaries of our knowledge, investigating the complex dynamics that define Earth processes and the Universe, probing the formation and evolution of our Solar System and beyond, and, ultimately, helping us understand our place in the cosmos. By establishing a sustained presence in LEO and on soon the Moon, Europe will play a crucial role in the new era of space exploration.

Breakthrough results will be possible thanks to significant technological innovation, resulting in the delivery of excellent mission performance and reliable scientific data. This will involve enhancing Europe’s capabilities in LEO through advanced satellite technologies, continued participation in the ISS and post-ISS space stations, and collaborative international projects, building the necessary infrastructure to support operations in the cislunar space, establishing a continuous presence on the Moon, preparing for human and robotic missions to Mars and conducting scientific research.

ESA aims not only to advance our understanding of the Universe, but also to excite future generations, foster international cooperation, and make a substantial contribution to the progress of scientific knowledge, bringing benefits and prosperity to society at large.

No registration is needed for the webinar. The link gives direct access to the webinar in a Zoom meeting.
