Unlock Your Space Entrepreneurial Journey with CASSINI Challenges

The CASSINI Challenges, formerly #Myeuuspace competition, is open for applications. The competition is divided in three thematic tracks like the maturity of the proposed solution. A total € 1.000.000 are available in prize money. A webinar about the CASSINI Challenges will be held on 24 October

When we think of space business, the image of rocket launches and astronauts often comes to mind. However, the world of space business extends far beyond rockets and control rooms.

Space data, including Earth Observation, satellite navigation, and satcom data, holds the key to a multitude of applications right here on Earth. Whether you're a startup monitoring tourism's environmental impact or a drone operator using satellite navigation for urgent deliveries, you're part of the "downstream space entrepreneur" community. These entrepreneurs have the potential to tackle previously unsolved problems and seize early-mover advantages.

Introducing CASSINI Challenges: Paving the Way for Space Entrepreneurs

EUSPA presents the CASSINI Challenges, formerly known as #myeuspace competition, designed for both seasoned innovators and newcomers to the space industry. It's a competition that tasks you with creating cutting-edge solutions to address pressing societal issues, harnessing satellite data and services from Galileo and Copernicus. And here's the exciting part: there's a total cash prize pool of 1,000,000 euros up for grabs to propel your solution to the next level.

The competition comprises three thematic challenges and three tracks:
1. Next Generation Challenge: Enhance the well-being, safety, security, and connectivity of EU citizens using Galileo and Copernicus data.
2. Sustainable Future Challenge: Innovate solutions for ecosystem conservation, sustainable agriculture, and efficient energy and resource management.
3. Emerging Technologies Challenge: Develop groundbreaking solutions by combining EU space data with cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Quantum technologies, Blockchain, and Extended Reality (AR, MR, VR).

Throughout the competition, EUSPA Market Development professionals will provide guidance through dedicated webinars. You'll also gain access to a wealth of space intelligence tools and publications generated by EUSPA. An information webinar about the CASSINI Challenges will be held by EUSPA on October 24, 2023.
