Watch Huginn launch on 25 August

ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen and his family are currently in isolation with a duration of two weeks before the launch. He will be launched as part of Crew-7 to the International Space Station for the Huginn mission on 25 August at 09:49 – Danish time. You can watch the launch on ESA WebTV 2.

Crew-7 with ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen, NASA astronaut Jasmin Moghbeli, JAXA astronaut Satoshi Furukawa and Roscosmos astronaut Konstantin Borisov will take off in the SpaceX Crew Dragon Endurance on top of a Falcon 9 rocket from NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, USA. Liftoff is planned in the night at 03:49 local time in Florida and will be streamed on ESA WebTV 2.

The trip to the International Space Station will take around 24 hours where they will dock. The Huginn mission will officially begin as soon as Andreas passes the hatch to Earth’s orbiting laboratory. You can check the detailed timeline of the launch via the link.
