ESA is seeking ideas that can further the development of quantum or data management and processing technologies related to space. Ideas should highlight technological challenges in various areas related to quantum technologies (e.g. quantum sensing & metrology, quantum communication and cryptography, and quantum enabling technologies) or data management and processing technologies (e.g. data processing for engineering and decision-making, AI/ML-enhanced data processing paradigms, and data management and processing technologies for cross-domain applications). The aim is that down the road solutions to these ideas can significantly benefit further development of quantum or data management and processing technologies related to space as well as the commercialisation of applications and products based on the solutions.
The deadline for submission of ideas is July 5th, and the campaign is open for submissions by participants registered in one of ESA's Member States, Associate Member States or Cooperating States.
