Danmarks Frie Forskningsfond annoncerer opslag til HERA JRP IV ’Public Spaces: Culture and Integration in Europe’
Danmarks Frie Forskningsfond deltager i finansieringen af HERA-netværkets Joint Research Programme ’Public Spaces: Culture and Integration in Europe’ (Humanities in the European Research Area) sammen med 23 andre nationale humanistiske forskningsråd og EU-Kommissionen. HERA har til formål at styrke humanioras rolle i det europæiske forskningsrum og omfatter en række forskellige aktiviteter.
Der er afsat 720.000 euro til opslaget, og der kan søges om støtte til deltagelse i internationale forskningskonsortier inden for temaet ’Public Spaces: Culture and Integration in Europe’. Uddrag fra opslaget:
“The HERA JRP PS wants to mobilize the wide range of multi-disciplinary perspectives necessary to understanding the relationships between “public space”, culture and other phenomena, such as e.g. European integration. The research is expected to give new insights that promote the full potential of citizens’ engagement with European public and cultural spaces; to stimulate public, political and scholarly debate about the future prospects of European integration, and to study new modes of interactive and reciprocal engagement between academics and various types of stakeholders including those working in the media, creative industries, and heritage sectors, as they have proved to be the true vehicles of European integration. The challenge for research is to identify how the relations between culture and integration within the context of public space(s) have been modelled and how they can be better understood in order to contribute to a better world.”
Forskere, der har base i Danmark, kan maximalt søge om 240.000 euro inklusiv overhead per projekt, mens det samlede projekt ikke må overstige 1 million euro. Varighederne af de samlede ’Collaborative Research Projects’ (CRPs) må vare 24-36 måneder. Projekterne skal starte inden maj 2019 og slutte senest maj 2022.
Som dansk ansøger skal man have en ph.d.-grad eller tilsvarende kvalifikationer. Forskergrupper fra mindst fire HERA JRP PS-deltagerlande skal indgå i forskningsprojektet, og projekterne forventes at forløbe over maksimum tre år. Den samlede projektansøgning koordineres og indsendes af projektets projektleder (PL). Mere information om generelle og nationale retningslinjer fremgår af linket nedenfor.
Der lægges op til en to-trins proces i ansøgningsprocessen.
Ansøgningen skal indsendes via HERA’s hjemmeside, hvor der også findes adgang til opslaget, et partnersøgningsværktøj og øvrig vejledning til ansøgningsproceduren.
Det foregående HERA JRP III under temaet ’Uses of the Past’ resulterede i 18 bevillinger, hvoraf Danmarks Frie Forskningsfond bidrager med finansiering i 3 projekter.
