Two parallel Calls for Expression of Interest are open to gather experiments that could be considered for IOD/IOV actions that cover aggregation, if needed, launch services and operations. IOD/IOV experiments are defined as innovative technologies, products, concepts, architectures, and operations techniques that require in orbit demonstration/validation. Experiments may be instrument, equipment, technologies, system experiment, missions, payloads, etc. Application is open for both IOD/IOV Experiments needing aggregation and Ready to Fly IOD/IOV satellites.
Selected applicant will have their payloads aggregated and launched on a EU launcher, funded by the European Union. Operation of the payload can potentially also receive funding support. Note that the experiments will have to bear the costs of their own development up to and including the flight models.
