Against the backdrop of the expected release of an ambitious government strategy for research and innovation in space, the conference offers you the opportunity to meet the entire sector and discuss Denmark’s future prospects in areas such as Earth observation, dual use and defence, space science, and entrepreneurship.
“The annual national space conferences have something special. They are truly interdisciplinary. It’s where researchers meet developers from space companies and come up with great ideas for collaborations. I always leave with my notebook filled with valuable information and contacts,” says Peter Mandix Sehestedt, senior consultant in the space division at the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science.
Since the initial announcement, the price for attending the conference has been reduced to make it easier for everyone interested to participate. You can also sign up for a dinner on Tuesday evening, which will feature space-themed entertainment.
This year’s space conference has been upgraded with a follow-up workshop on how you, together with ESA, can move from idea to prototype or initial study. This is the first time ESA is holding a workshop in Denmark on the many opportunities to start early-stage technology developments and studies with ESA.
If you register for the conference, you are automatically signed up for the workshop.
