Projekterne skal tage afsæt i innovationsnetværkenes og innovationscentrenes komplementære kompetencer og demonstrere, hvordan der kan skabes værdi og synergi gennem konkrete samarbejdsaktiviteter. Projekterne skal have fokus på etablering af nye internationale samarbejder og alliancer, der involverer og kommer danske SMV’er til gavn. De udvalgte projekter skal samlet set repræsentere en forskellighed og spredning både mht. samarbejdsaktiviteter og –former, deltagere og geografi.
