About EuroCenter - we advice about Horizon 2020

EuroCenter supports the internationalisation of Danish research. The purpose of the centre is to advise Danish companies, universities, research institutes and other stakeholders about participation in the EU's research and innovation programme, Horizon 2020.

EuroCenter's advisers can clarify whether your project idea fits into a call for proposals, assist you in writing a project proposal and advise on the legal and financial rules for participation in a project under Horizon 2020.

The services include:

  • Answering specific questions via telephone or e-mail
  • Information meetings and webinars about Horizon 2020
  • Courses on for instance; How to write a competitive proposal and how to manage the budget.
  • Leaflets, reports and the quarterly magasine EU-Information.

EuroCenter also contribute to the political agenda of the Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education on topics regarding Horizon 2020. This is done as members of the programme committees for the various Horizon 2020 research areas, by shared responsibility for the reference groups and by contributing to initiatives and activities about internationalisation of Danish research.

The centre has been part of the Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education since 2006. The primary responsibility of the centre is to stay informed about the different research activities which take place in the EU, and also to assist possible applicants to EU’s research based programmes. Advisers in EuroCenter are appointed as National Contact Points for the varoius areas under Horizon 2020 and attend regular meetings with the European Commission in order to stay updated with information about Horizon 2020.

DANRO (The Danish EU Research Liaison Office) represents Danish research interests within the European Union. The purpose of DANRO is to promote and increase Danish participation in the EU framework programme for research and Innovation Horizon 2020.
